Suites are now available for booking at Reston’s newest hotel, the five-story, 135-room Homewood Suites by Hilton Reston. The hotel was scheduled to open this coming weekend but a definite opening date had not been announced ahead of time. The hotel contains four room types, including King or Queen bed options, and an executive suite.
Thompson Hospitality owns and operates the hotel, located just next door to their headquarters building at the Lake Fairfax Business Park. The building was approved in 2018 and construction commenced last year. See the gallery below for photos taken throughout the construction process.
It is the first new hotel to deliver in Reston in a few years, and the only hotel in its immediate vicinity. However, plans are underway for two new Marriott hotels to deliver as early as 2023, including one as part of the nearby Reston Station transit-oriented development.
